Sephora by OPI's Read my Palm

Well, life. Everything is going wonderfully, but you’ve also gotten all hectic and difficult on me.

To the wonderful but few people that read my blog, I’m sorry for disappearing. If I can blame anyone, I blame my wonderful boyfriend. These last four months I’ve been rather busy falling in love with the most amazing man I’ve ever met. :)

My computer has also been acting wonky (errrr, since April, lol), and won’t connect to the internet. Until I completely wipe it and install Windows 7 (which should be within the next couple weeks, I hope!), I still don’t have real internet access. Life in general has been keeping me on my toes lately, so finding time to hit the library and make posts has been almost nonexistent.

I haven’t lost my love for nail polish, though! Even without pictures and posts, they’re still getting freshly painted every or every other day.

Outside of not having real access to the internet, though, life has been pretty amazing. I hope that all of you are doing well, and that you’ve been having an amazing summer! I can’t wait to install my new OS so that I can start reading blog posts again!

How about some nails? :) Here’s a little diddy called “Erin Finally got Sephora’d!” There isn’t a Sephora in the town that I live in, but while Brad and I were in Columbus for a concert, we stopped over at _____________. Holy freakin’ wow! Pretty high brow for this Midwest girl. My mouth may have dropped at the fact that there was a Saks Fifth Avenue there. We didn’t have time to wander, so we headed right to Sephora. I got pretty swoony, but thankfully Brad was there to keep me grounded. He helped me cross polishes off the laundry list I had pulled off of the website, and reminded me a time or two that I had colors almost identical to a pair that I was trying to choose between. Thank goodness, too. I could have spent myself broke in there just picking out polishes!

I ended up with a full size bottle of Sephora by OPI’s I’m with Brad (haha, I couldn’t help it!), and the box of Havana Nights minis. I’m still really pleased with my choices!

Sephora by OPI’s Read my Palm. I really like this polish, but I’m finding the color hard to describe. It definitely leans more green than blue. To me, it almost looks like sea green cream mixed with a pale gray cream. Either way, it feels like a very nautical color to me.

This is two coats of polish with a coat of Seche Vite. I had some issues with balding when I went over it too much, but that’s pretty standard with pastel-ish colors.  Also, apologies for imperfections.  As it always was, I'm still taking pictures after I get off work.  Lame-o.

Pretty, isn’t it? :) I can see myself quickly finishing this mini. Loreal recently released some summery blues recently, and I feel like I picked up a similar color to this. Hopefully it’s very close so that I don’t have to make another pilgrimage back to Sephora and risk more moneyspending. :)

The other colors in this box are Teal we Meet Again, Rumba Romance, and Caliente Coral. I tested Teal we Meet Again, and I’m hoping that my Wet n Wild Blue Moon polish will be a close enough dupe. I really didn’t think that I would like Rumba Romance as much as I do. I’ll review that one soon. I wore Caliente Coral this weekend, though, and wasn’t in love with it. In my opinion, it’s a pretty standard (cough boring cough) bright orange cream. Should have seen that coming, though.

What do you think of Read my Palm? If you’ve still got some summer left in you, pick it up!
