Sally Girl - Pink holo!

Ugh, first things first!  I'm sorry that it's been so long.  I have problems with Blogger uploading my pictures whenever I go to update, so it's more than a little off-putting when I start an entry just to find that my photos won't load up.

I've been buying way too many a bunch of interesting polishes lately.  In fact, lookie what I found at Sally Beauty Supply!

Workplace friendly polish filled with holo glitter?  I thought those had to be expensive?  Butter London, OPI DS?  Nope!  Try $0.99!!  This soft, subtle pearly pink is packed full of scattered holo glitter.

It's not a perfect holo, as you can see, but the glitter in the polish is really whiz bang out in the sun!

Three coats and done!  The polish isn't bumpy or awkward, either.  Very smooth, simple, and pretty.

I don't usually buy Sally Girl polishes.  I don't like that they don't have names, for starters.  There's so many of them!  How am I supposed to keep them straight without names?  Unlike other complaints I've heard, I don't mind at all that they're small.  I think it's fun to buy lots of colors for a small price. :)  I wish that the ones I really liked were available in a larger bottle, though.  I would definitely buy this one in a larger size!

So what do you gals think?  Do you love any of these itty bitty Sally Girl polishes?

  1. I only have one Sally Girl...and it's a white creme. :) This looks really cute, though; I'll definitely be looking for it next time I go to Sally's!

  3. This is a great color! And how can you go wrong for 99 cents! I think I only have one of the Sally Girl polishes, and I don't think I've used it yet. I don't care for shorty bottles like these, but I won't complain for that price!

  4. I just bought the purple and the blue holo Sally Girls this past week. I didn't see this one, but I'm going to have to look again! :-) I had no idea SG had holo polish, and I always look to see if they have any interesting colors. I think they are new?

  5. I also bought a Sally Girl holo glitter polish that's either a white pearl or a very pale lavender pearl. I forget... lol. It's rather pretty, though! I'll have to keep my eyes open for a blue one! I don't look at those polishes much, but I do believe that they're new...

I think they're pretty fun buys! They have a great variety of colors for such a simple line. I really wish that I could get the polishes I like in larger sizes, but I also feel that the tiny bottles are super easy to keep in your purse or take on trips with you. :)

  7. Yay! I love all my sally girl nail polishes, I have a few ^_^.
Evil Angel told me that years ago they sold the big bottles, now are minis, still pretty nice and so cute.
I give you a tip, if you want to know the names go to their website and match the numbers there to find the names, they removed the names from the little bottles last year :(.

  8. Aha!!! I wondered how people knew the names of them! That makes sense. :) I suppose that it would be hard to fit a clever name on such a tiny bottle. :D
